Two file managers you should download for Windows Phone 8.1

File Manager

Some of you were looking for file managers for Windows Phone 8.1, then a couple of developers have quickly delivered. These file managers let y'all access your Documents, Downloads, and other user folders. You can essentially read, copy, and motion files.

The 2 apps that we're looking at are Aerize Explorer and Pocket Explorer. They share like features with a few differences. Both apps are currently works in progress just tin can already exist downloaded from the Windows Telephone Store.

Aerize Explorer

Aerize lets yous manage your files, folders, and storage cards. Information technology is the first file managing director for Windows Phone that can read and write files and folders to storage cards and the device file system. This means you tin easily motility files and folders betwixt your device and microSD card.

Aerize Explorer

Like we mentioned earlier, Aerize Explorer is still a work in progress. We're not fans of the electric current design. Information technology gets things washed, only it'due south not pretty. For example, the file location address and time stamp are displayed underneath file and folder names. Nosotros think these can exist omitted or perhaps displayed in a meliorate way.

Aerize Explorer is a free download from the Windows Phone Store.  The developers are listening to your feedback and are responding quickly to requests. Head over to the forums to follow the chat.

Pocket Explorer

Pocket Explorer likewise lets y'all Read, Copy, and Motility files effectually, but we like the pattern amend than Aerize. It looks clean and gets bonus points for integrating your phone's accent color.

Pocket Explorer

A feature we actually like on Pocket Explorer is the ability to pivot user files and folders. For example, I have my passenger vehicle schedule in pdf format pinned to the home screen.

Pocket Explorer is free to try with the purchase selection for $one.99 at the Windows Telephone Shop. It's currently in beta, only we're really happy with information technology so far.
